"It's Monday! What Are You Reading?" is hosted every week by Kathryn @ Book Date. I'm trying to update you guys every week regardless of how much I've read- but I'm happy to report that I got in a decent amount of reading this week!
I finished reading "I, Eliza Hamilton" by Susan Holloway Scott- a historical fiction I received through Edelweiss. The book doesn't come out till late September, so you'll have to wait awhile for my review.
I also finished reading "Nothing" by Annie Barrows, another review book I received through Edelweiss. I didn't enjoy this book as much, but it got much better around the end.
I am currently reading "Running Full Tilt by Michael Currinder- you guessed it- yet another review book! I'm loving this one much more than I expected to, and my review should be out sometime in August.
I'm quite happy with this progress, especially since this week was my first week of school! Let me know about your reading weeks in the comments below!

I've been concentrating on review books too. With 30 or so on my stack, the need to read them was getting overwhelming. Since I read them in order of publication and really want to read the ones releasing in late September, I had even more incentive. Come see my week here. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI do that too- read books by order of publication and use the ones I want to read the most as incentive!
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by Kathy!
Thanks for sharing. I hope you enjoy the one you're currently reading and have a wonderful week filled with awesome reads. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Geybie!
DeleteI hope you've had a great week so far as well!
Oh dear back at work! Some interesting books, definitely like the look of the Hamilton book. Nice that Running Full Tilt is engaging you.
ReplyDeleteBack at school once again! Running Full Tilt turned out to be a book I really enjoyed- I'm so glad I picked it up!
DeleteHave a great week Kathryn!
I, Eliza Hamilton is on my wishlist. The old place is nearly ready. Meanwhile, we're happily settled in our temporary apartment. Come see what I'm reading
ReplyDeleteYou should really pick it up- I loved the book!
DeleteWow, that's a lot of reading for the first week of school - good for you! Sounds like a nice variety.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books - and school - this week!

2017 Big Book Summer Challenge
Luckily I had quite a bit of free time this week- I'm afraid I won't have so much from now on!
DeleteThanks for stopping by Sue!
Thank you so much for being a wonderful partner in July for the Summer '17 Comment Challenge. I hope you enjoy the new school year!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Alicia! You've been a great partner as well- I know it's taken me a while to reply to some comments, but I've really enjoyed this process. I can't participate in August, but I hope to participate again in Winter!
DeleteHard to believe it's back to school time already! Yikes.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!!
Schools in India do start much earlier than schools in the West.
