Now my photography skills aren't the best- and I was a little bit preoccupied with not falling off the boat, so I couldn't get any pictures of the whales completely out of the water. It was a surreal experience though!

Last week, I shared some pictures of our family trip to Meghalaya this summer. Today, I'll be sharing some more pictures of our trip, this time of some natural formations around the state. Hey guys! Last week, I finished my series about my trip to the UK in 2009. This week, as I usually do in between series, I'll be sharing a post about a short trip. This was a trip we took to Valle de Bravo (Mexico) also in 2009, when we were living in Mexico City. Am I the only one struggling to believe that we're already in June 2017? And here I am, posting about a trip I took in June 2009. It's been 8 years since my family trip to the UK, but thanks to Melinda@Westmetromommyreads , I'm able to post about it through Saturday Snapshot. Hot, stilted air Breeze laying dead Behind the branches,  Of the shrubs along the Busy roads Sickly-sweet, Jasmine fragrance, Artificial and dominating Hangs in the air,  Waiting to be replaced By the nasty, putrid odor Of the slums and sewers, Lining the streets As soon as the air shifts Wind will come, A miracle we hope for, When it does move the air, A rush of even warmer breeze Tickles our faces,  Replacing one desolate smell With another one,  Until the blessing of rain Shallow or deep,  Shifts the air again.  -Poem Fanatic
