Hey guys, it's time to update you on my reading progress once more! This meme is hosted by Kathryn @Book Date.
I finished reading "Fire Study" by Maria v. Snyder, the third book in the Chronicles of Ixia series. It's a fantasy series about a poison taster in a militarist society- where most people are content, who develops magical powers and discovers she is actually from the democratic enemy lands.
I am currently reading "Nowhere Near You" by Leah Thomas. This is the second installation in the "Because You'll Never Meet Me" series. I read the first book last year, and was so shocked to discover that I haven't reviewed it yet. Look out for a review of both books coming soon
I've decided to put aside "The Messenger" until I have more time to read- so probably until the summer vacations.
I am also currently reading "The Postmistress" by Sarah Blake. This is a story set in WWII following the lives of an American radio jockey in London; the wife of a doctor in US; and the Postmistress in the town of Cape Cod. It's slightly confusing, but I've just begun the book and I'm sure I'll be able to make out the characters more easily towards the middle.

I've like all of Maria V. Snyder's adult fantasies. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
