The stars that twinkle
Light up the sky
Through the darkness
They're a glimmer of hope
Imagine a dark veil
With a few spots of light
Imagine a black sheet,
With traces of white
The stars are hope
The stars are life
The stars are light
The stars are bright
But the stars are dying
Because we are blind
There are none left,
In the skies for us to find
Nevertheless, the stars are there
The stars remain
No longer visible
The stars are now our metaphors
They are the light
The white
The bright
The night
Light up the sky
Through the darkness
They're a glimmer of hope
Imagine a dark veil
With a few spots of light
Imagine a black sheet,
With traces of white
The stars are hope
The stars are life
The stars are light
The stars are bright
But the stars are dying
Because we are blind
There are none left,
In the skies for us to find
Nevertheless, the stars are there
The stars remain
No longer visible
The stars are now our metaphors
They are the light
The white
The bright
The night
Really nice poem!!!
