Hey Everyone! It's time for another reading update! I think I made good progress on my reading this week, and am happy to say that I finished two books. IMWAYR is hosted by unleashingreaders.com and teachmentortexts.com
I finished reading "This Adventure Ends" by Emma Mills. The story is about a young girl who develops a strong friendship with a pair of twins and their group of friends. I really enjoyed the colloquial and honest way in which this book was written. I know we shouldn't judge books by their covers, but I fell in love with this one!
I also finished reading "Beneath Wandering Stars" by Ashlee Cowell. This book is about a non-religious pilgrimage that ends in love and self-discovery. I found the story a little bit predictable in some ways, but surprising in others.
I'd like to start reading "The Shop on Blossom Street" by Debbie Macomber next. Hopefully I'll love it as much as I loved these two books. I don't think I'll have a very informative reading update next week though, because my exams start this week!
Wish me luck and Happy Reading!

ReplyDeleteI agree.. The cover of this Adventure Ends is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. What grade/age levels would you say these are aimed at?
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely suggest them for someone aged over thirteen, because they do deal with some heavy topics. The language of both is quite colloquial as well and includes swear words. Somehow I feel that this is justified....
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I too think that cover is beautiful!
