Hey everyone. It's time for another reading update, hosted by unleashingreaders.com and teachmentortexts.com
I was travelling this week, so I did get in an extra few hours of reading on the plane, but at the same time I didn't get to read as much during the day. Either way, I finished two great books this week.
I finally finished reading "I'll Give You the Sun" by Jandy Nelson. This unique artistic approach to emotion is great, and for any of you hardcore YA Readers who haven't tried this book already, make sure it's on your must-read list for this year!
I also finished reading "The Bishop's Girl" by Rebecca Burns. This historical fiction talks about a researcher looking into the remains of a woman found buried with a very popular Bishop during the First World War, and at the same time focuses on her family life. Kathryn from BookDate reviewed this book, and after reading her review, I just couldn't wait to pick it up!
I'm looking forward to reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and After the Funeral this week.
Blog Posts Last week:
Create a Memory (Poem)
My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga (YA Review)
