Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy this poem that was written by me- and another poem fanatic for an event in school- based on Utopia. They are those that surround you, But in the hour of need, They will look right past you, They are those who will recognize the pain in your eyes But they will look away and ignore you I’ve dreamed a world, Where they are different They look through your skin, They see your personality, And feel your emotion I’ve dreamed a world, Where nothing’s black or white, They understand the kaleidoscope of colors,  Celebrate and mourn with you. It is the use of weapons for senseless destructions It stems from fury and chaos Its horrors will haunt you for a lifetime, And tear apart the lives of millions of others

I felt the need to upload a book review again- after quite a while- because this week I read a book that really inspired me. Annexed, by Sharon Dogar. This is the fictional story of Peter Van Pels ( a real person) who was hiding in the Annex, with Anne Frank and her family. In Anne's Diary, he is represented as Peter Van Daan.

  The poem "One" by Shawnee Kellie is a very interesting and thought-provoking piece of writing. The poem spreads the message that it is not only a large group of people that can make a change, but one idea, one thought, one human that can help make the world a better place. 

Two lovers share a heart, Two friends share a joke, Two parents share a child Two daughters share a smile Two leaves share a branch, Two drops of rain share a cloud, Two eggs share a nest But two cannot share a home, Nor can two share some food, For one is in need, And the other's unaware For those two to share, A message is to be spread.
