Have you ever heard of blooming tea? I hadn't. At least, not until today. I went to someone's house today, and after brunch, they served some tea. But the tea wasn't just any tea. It wasn't made out of tea bags, or even tea leaves. It was made out of a blooming flower,
This tea was made in a clear kettle, filled to the brim with hot water. Inside, there was a brown spiny shape, that seemed to look like a porcupine whose spines were made out of wood. The shape, was supposed to be a flower. With time, the spines slowly spread, revealing a red center, that reminded me of a lychee. It tinged the water a color similar to that of... well tea! I didn't try it, but those who did, assured me that it tasted amazing!
This Chinese flower blew my mind, and though I can't think of much to write about, I decided to write about this mind-boggling flower, just to allow myself to write!
A picture of the flower as it was blooming
Nice way of getting over writer's block! Hope you have started writing after watching the flower bloom?

ReplyDeleteThank you. I actually didn't write this immediately after the tea bloomed, I just noted down some quick points so I wouldn't forget them, and then I wrote this after I came home
